Here at MOPS, we are on a mission to celebrate motherhood. MOPS (Mothers Of PreSchoolers) is about supporting and encouraging you as a mum while providing childcare for your little ones in their own session 'moppets'. It's about finding time and place in your hectic schedule to unwind, relax, refresh and grow. Join us for: speakers and informal discussion on relevant topics to being a mum and a woman, fun & easy crafts activities, delicious food, and an opportunity to develop lifelong friendships. You'll always find a warm welcome, a friendly smile and a listening ear. All Mums welcome!
MOPS is now meeting weekly every Tuesday morning at 10am during school terms in the Trumpington Meadows School Community Room. We are alternating between Stay and Play sessions and full MOPS sessions. Once a month we are also doing evening MOPS sessions. Details of each session are below.
Stay and Play (10-11am)
Mums and children stay together for an hour of play and chat; toys and refreshments are provided. Suggested donation £2 per family.
Full MOPS (10-11.30am)
We'll provide the childcare, giving you an hour and a half of child-free time in the room next door. Children under 1 are welcome to stay in the main room. There will be a mum-focussed craft, discussions about motherhood, videos, chat, and a hot cup of tea with a slice of cake. Suggested donation £3.50 per family.
Evening MOPS (8-9.30pm)
Same as the full MOPS (minus the childcare!), but in the evening, for working mums. Hosted at 85 Bishops Road, CB2 9NQ. Suggested donation £2 per mum.

Location:
Trumpington Meadows School community room, entrance found round the side of the school to the right of the bike racks. There will be a MOPS board near the entrance. Parking is limited onsite, so it's best to park in the park and ride car park (parking is free).

Mums have found community through MOPS for almost 40 years. Run by Christian mums, it is an international support network of women who share the common bond of preschool age children.
We ask for suggested donations for sessions, however we try to be inclusive and if this is difficult to pay please do still come and let us know. |
